Vicks Sinex Micromist Nasal Spray
Vicks Sinex Micromist Nasal Spray is a nasal spray used for localised relief of the symptoms of a blocked nose in association with a cold, hay fever or sinusitis(inflammation of the passages leading to the nose).
The effect of the spray starts after several minutes and lasts for 6-8 hours. The active substance is oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
Vicks VapoRub
Vicks VapoRub is an ointment which is used to relieve nasal catarrh (inflammation of mucous membranes in the nose and throat), congestion (a blocked nose), sore throat and coughs due to colds.
Vicks VapoRub contains four active ingredients: Camphor, Turpentine oil, Levomenthol and Eucalyptus oil:
- Levomenthol and camphor calm a cough
- Eucalyptus oil and Levomenthol relieve nasal congestion (blocked nose)
- Eucalyptus oil relieves catarrh
Vicks Inhaler Nasal Stick
Vicks Inhaler Nasal Stick is a nasal decongestant stick (0.5 ml medication) it contains the active ingredients:
- Menthol (125mg)
- Camphor (50mg)
- Siberian Pine Needle Oil (10mg)
- methyl salicylate.
When you inhale these actives through your nose, they work on the lining of your nasal passages to ease breathing and help relieve a stuffy nose caused by colds or allergic reactions.
